GNF Gallery a le plaisir de présenter « Kit pour lutter pour la joie », de l’artiste Belge Jérôme Poloczek (1979, Bruxelles). Axée autour de 9 expériences proposées au visiteur, cette exposition retrace l’évolution récente du travail de cet artiste concernant la question de ce qui constitue un objet esthétique et, au-delà de l’objet lui-même, un partage du sensible.
A contre-courant des propositions actuelles qui glorifient et jouissent de la puissance esthétique des objets, Poloczek construit une réflexion sur l’art comme partage d’une expérience vécue et ritualisée. A partir de dispositif simples, se résumant parfois à quelques brèves instructions écrites, l’artiste invite le visiteur à s’emparer d’objets ordinaires, sans valeur esthétique particulière, et à en faire les vecteurs d’un partage de l’expérience singulière que chacun fait du réel.
Ce faisant, c’est tout un langage formel et symbolique que Poloczek se propose de développer autour de l’expérience du sensible. A ce titre, son œuvre s’inscrit en prolongement de celles qui, refusant la réification de l’art, tendent au contraire à souligner qu’il constitue avant tout un point de rencontre des subjectivités, un espace-temps au sein duquel « quelque chose peut advenir », la résultante de cette rencontre.

GNF Gallery is proud to present the exhibition "Kit pour lutter pour la joie" ("Fight for joy") by Belgian artist Jérôme Poloczek (1979, Brussels). Composed of 9 experiences for visitors to engage in, this exhibition aims to show the recent development of Poloczek's interrogation of what is an aesthetic object and, beyond the object itself, how the phenomenological experience of reality can be shared.
